Agriculture, Education, and Information in Mississippi

 

This website is about the Information Technology Workforce Grant funded by the National Science Foundation. This grant is being used to conduct research by the Department of Agricultural Information Science and Education at Mississippi State University.

Why are we conducting this research project?

The purpose of this project is to determine if an early intervention program promotes students' interests in pursuing an Information Technology Career Path. More specifically, this project will determine the factors affecting students' decisions to enter the IT workforce in Mississippi's Agricultural Industry.
